Alomon GemsLab originated in 2000 when Simon Alonso began trading Burmese colored gemstones in Australia. His principled and passionate approach is evident today throughout our company. Inspired by his father’s vision which helped establish our tradition for innovation and diversity, and led to the group’s initial growth and expansion.
The company has prospered exponentially and grown into a leading multinational corporation. We continue to conduct our business according to the highest principles of ethics, respect and integrity.

Alomon GemsLab is a world-leading responsible miner and marketer of colored gemstones. We specialize in emeralds mined from Zambia and rubies from Mozambique, Zultanite from Turkey and other precious stones from around the world. We operate with transparency, legitimacy and integrity. We demonstrate the beauty of responsibly mined rubies and emeralds.

We have taken considerable strides in tailoring our portfolio to reflect this, identifying suitable sapphire opportunities in eastern Europe to complement our thriving ruby and emerald operations. We’ve expanded our marketing activities to boost demand for colored gemstones and maintain the utmost operational transparency.
